I don’t write recommendations often unless warranted. I can honestly say Jake is very professional and reliable. No messing around, turns up, gets the job done, clears up after himself- which is a rare find and an important one to me. We had a fence installed last year and I’ve rebooked Jake in for pruning and cutting back our apple tree, installing a gate and jet washing the patio. Mr Humes landscaped my front and rear gardens. Mr Humes is extremely knowledgeable about his trade and made several imaginative and practical suggestions to improve on my ideas. Very reliable, turns up when he says and doesn’t make promises he can’t keep. The estimate he gave was realistic and I knew exactly how my money was being spent. I have another garden project planned for later this year and will be using Mr Humes again. I would highly recommend. Jake is a perfectionist, he installed an artificial golf green with 6 holes, a surround fringe and 2 artificial bunkers.I wanted a lot of contours to make a putting green like Augusta and he came up with all the solutions.I could not have believed how good it has turned out.He stuck to my budget and would not finish the job until he was happy with it even if I might not have noticed.Would thoroughly recommend him for his work attitude and tidiness Jake did a fantastic job landscaping our garden. He considered our design carefully and made good suggestions based on our budget. Jake was respectful, considerate and professional. The work Jake did was to a high standard and he really seemed to care about us being happy with the result. Jake was very honest and accurate with his estimate. I would highly recommend Jake for any landscaping project and I would hire him again without hesitation.

Very professional and reliable service offered by jake. Wouldn’t usually go out my way to write a review for a company unless I was thoroughly impressed by the work. Approachable, easy to explain work requirments needed, tidy, efficient and fast with outstanding finish and good eye for detail. Had a whole fence fitted and am making further bookings for a very large apple tree to be cut back, patio improvements and getting a mini garden golf course installed by jake which we are very excited about.
